UK ADVANCE Releases Updated Guidelines for GenAI in Teaching and Learning

In June 2023, the University of Kentucky empaneled UK ADVANCE, a broad-based committee of experts to examine and make recommendations to help the campus and community regarding the implications of generative AI for higher education, research and beyond. UK ADVANCE is taking an evidence-based approach with experts from many disciplines and ongoing monitoring of experiences among our campus, community, and nationally. For these guidelines, initially released on August 11, 2023 and updated on December 14, 2023, UK ADVANCE has reviewed the emerging evidence and experiences with generative AI and sought input from multiple stakeholders.
