Better Practices in Student Peer Review

In this workshop, we will explore effective strategies for implementing student peer review that enhances both the review process and student learning. Focusing on practical techniques, we’ll discuss how to guide students in giving and receiving constructive feedback, while fostering a collaborative environment that supports skill development in critical thinking and revision. Participants will learn how to design peer review assignments that are clear, structured, and aligned with learning goals, as well as how to create a safe space for students to engage with each other’s work.

In this Zoom workshop, we’ll explore several concrete, evidence-based strategies for transforming traditional lectures into active, student-centered learning experiences.
