Faculty Panel: Extension Integration in the Classroom
Extension plays an important role in UK’s land grant mission of making a difference in the lives of Kentucky citizens across the state through research-based education. There are many opportunities to connect Extension with learning in the classroom. Join us for this session that will provide a basic overview of Extension and feature three faculty members who will share their unique applications of Extension in their teaching. Attendees can expect to come away with ideas for possible Extension integration in their own teaching as well as knowledge about existing funding opportunities for innovative projects related to the expansion of Extension across campus.
