Getting Started with AI: Basic Vocabulary and Getting Connected
The fast pace of AI development can be overwhelming and confusing at times and making sense of that evolving technology requires understanding unfamiliar terminology and tools currently shaping higher education. This session provides a practical introduction to the essential vocabulary around AI for instructors to support campus-wide conversations. The session will serve as an introduction to the basics as well as to some of the common AI platforms and how to get connected to those tools provided by UK.
NB: As part of the Getting Started with AI workshop track, this session is for those who have little to no experience with GAI.
