Faculty: Apply for the AI-Focused Fall 2026 Teaching Innovation Institute

The Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) is pleased to invite applications for its Fall 2026 Teaching Innovation Institute.

The Teaching Innovation Institute will involve a one-semester cohort experience during Fall 2026 for faculty who are committed to examining the evolving impact of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) on teaching and learning.

CELT advances educational excellence at the University of Kentucky through (1) collaboration with faculty, staff, and students; (2) partnerships with academic and administrative units; and (3) leadership on the challenges, opportunities, and issues impacting teaching and learning in higher education. Apply to be a 2026-2027 TEK Faculty Fellow

In partnership with CELT, the TEK Faculty Fellows program supports faculty professional development and fosters transdisciplinary collaboration. TEK Faculty Fellows work in cohorts to design curricula and engage in effective teaching practices around transdisciplinary issues and durable skills that prepare students for career success. Applications are due April 6, and two Q+A events will be held in March.

Teaching Excellence Symposium Marks 15 Years of CELT

Last fall, the symposium offered a space for sharing exceptional instructional approaches to fostering student learning, connection and success. It also marked CELT’s 15th year of service and leadership on behalf of UK’s educational mission.
