Mentoring Neurodivergent Graduate Students
Mentoring graduate students can be tricky, especially if you don’t have a good model to work from. But, mentoring neurodivergent students can require a slightly different approach which can be achieved by implementing a few simple changes. This session will provide some introductory information about neurodivergent students’ strengths and challenges, and will offer specific strategies, tools, and ideas to help instructors provide targeted support when mentoring neurodivergent graduate students.
