Welcome to the University of Kentucky Teaching Community! CELT appreciates the wide range of roles you play at UK (teaching, research, advising, service, etc.) and enjoy collaborating with instructors around enhancing learning and teaching within their classes whether in-person, hybrid, or online.
New Faculty @ UK
Welcome!
Launching in September
We offer two opportunities for new faculty to connect with other new faculty and CELT. You are welcome to come to either or both, and attend when it fits your schedule. Sign up with the Registration Form.
New Faculty Community
We have ongoing conversations around teaching and learning that are driven by your questions and shared experiences.
Meets in person once a month from 10-10:50am on a Friday early in the month. Our kickoff is September 12th!
New Faculty Book Club
We come together to learn about learning with folks from last year’s New Faculty cohort. This year we are reading Make it Stick by Peter Brown et al.
We plan to meet once a month and have an online option.
