Facilitating community and belonging in our classrooms can go a long way in supporting students, but that process can often seem daunting and unclear. During this session, participants will explore strategies for building community and belonging as we feature the expertise and experiences of UK instructors during fall 2020 and spring 2021. Featuring data collected in a campus-wide study during these semesters, this session will also offer participants insight into UK’s student and instructional communities. Research featured in this session was completed as part of an IRB-approved study conducted in partnership with UK’s P20 Learning Lab and funded partially by a POD Network grant.
