UK Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Research Symposium

This event, hosted by the UK AI/ML Hub, explores cutting-edge techniques of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from both technical and applicational perspectives; Connects researchers from a breadth of colleges and disciplines to promote transdisciplinary collaboration; Includes an immersive, non-technical workshop introducing AI/ML applications to students and faculty with minimal previous experience; and Includes networking opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing AI/ML opportunities.

Interactive Lecturing (Graduate Badge Eligible)

Embedding opportunities for student participation within your lectures can enhance student’ learning and enjoyment. In this Zoom workshop, we’ll explore several concrete, evidence-based strategies for transforming traditional lectures into active, student-centered learning experiences. This session is designed with graduate teaching instructors but is open to anyone interested in learning about the topic. NB: this workshop counts towards the CELT Essentials in Teaching and Learning Badge.

In this info session, we will highlight essential techniques that will help your students become more self-directed learners. This info session is followed by an optional Q&A.

Commonwealth Computational Summit "AI in Education" Session

The AI in Education session, hosted virtually and open to participants in and beyond the state of Kentucky, will feature panels focusing on AI and feedback on writing and reviews, research and training in development, analytics and administrative efficiencies, assignments and learning activities, and AI in education and professional life.
